Product Description

Unique Multi-Color Blooms on a Dwarf Tree!

• Enjoy gorgeous, large blooms from July to September
• One of few shrubs that blooms into late summer.
• Grows in a wide variety of climates and soil conditions, and resists diseases and insects.
• Very versatile- can be used as a hedge or as a stand-alone or feature plant.

Vibrant Show of Red, Pink & White
It is difficult to find shrubs or small trees that bloom all the way into fall... let alone with this kind of color. The floral spikes cascade down the plant in a brilliant show that reminds us of strawberry ice cream or a strawberry shortcake!

You Often See These in High-End Neighborhoods
Landscape designers love adding these trees because they are low maintenance but still give you tons of color. They're unique, and will attract the attention of friends, neighbors, and even people driving by!

Low Maintenance
Always be sure to apply a nice layer of mulch around the base of the hydrangea. Mulch helps to keep the soil moist and provides protection from temperatures that are too hot or cold. Though the mature Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea Tree will grow as high as 8 to 10 feet, for best blooms prune the plant back to 6 to 8 feet every fall.

Easily Mended Soil Requirements
One of the successful keys for a healthy hydrangea is the soil. Though the plant is not especially picky, try to amend the soil to be rich in organic manner. Our recommendation is to plant in soil that is in a ratio of 3:1 soil to compost. Please make sure that the hole you dig is about three times as large as the root ball and that the soil and compost mixture is carefully packed around the roots. Be careful not to cut the roots. Thoroughly water the new plant and be sure to regularly water it, especially in hot and try climates.
