Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your Amber Glow™ Redwood in well-draining soil and in a spot that receives full sun. Place in a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. There's no need to amend the soil, but do add a thick layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture.

2. Watering: Make sure your Amber Glow™ Redwood receives one inch of water each week, and more if you live in a dry, drought-prone area. Rain is usually enough to keep it hydrated, but you'll likely need to water the establishing tree.

3. Pruning: Your Redwood will typically not require pruning due to its neat, pyramidal shape and well-behaved habit.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a slow release fertilizer once in spring and once in summer to give your tree a boost. Follow product instructions closely.
